Afreximbank intends to organize a Road Show with potential economic operators in Senegal from Thursday 29 of April 2010 to 30th of April 2010 at Hotel Pullman Teranga (Dakar)

The opening ceremony, co-chaired by the Ministry of Economy and Finance and the Chamber of Commerce is scheduled at 9 :00 am. The purpose of the Road show is to inform the business community in Senegal of the Bank’s activities and financing opportunities it offers.

The African Export-Import Bank (the “Bank” or “Afreximbank”) was established in Abuja, Nigeria in October, 1993 by African Governments, African private and institutional investors as well as non-African investors for the purposes of financing and promoting intra-and extra-African trade.

The Bank is headquartered in Cairo, the capital of the Arab Republic of Egypt and has two branches in Harare (Zimbabwe) and Abuja (Nigeria).

The targeted participants to this event include the following:

– Financial institutions (banks, insurance companies, DFI’s etc);
– Corporate sector (Telecoms, Mining, Water, Energy, Manufacturing, Oil & Gas, Transport, Ports & Harbors and Agro sectors);
– Import and exports agencies, and leasing companies;
– Trade/Project finance originators and intermediaries and partners;
– Government Agencies.
